Christopher Pouler has been living and working in Lakeville CT, for the past 20 years where he splits his time between his art and designing sets for the broadcast news industry.
He strives to capture the human spirit and condition in both his figurative pieces and his portraiture. Chris is currently exploring the contrast between the lives of people caught in regions of turmoil and those fortunate enough to be born into places of relative peace and stability.
One half of all proceeds from this show will be donated to Movement on the Ground, a non-profit foundation that responds to a humanitarian crisis affecting the innocent men, women and children forced from their homes by climate change, poverty and war. Their mission is to deliver a more dignified, sustainable, and innovative response to the refugee crisis in Europe. They can be reached at movementontheground.com.
